Hey guys, it’s that time of the year again, when everyone is trying to find the best gift for their loved ones. It can be hectic during this time of the year, some of us tend to lose focus on themselves. Let’s talk about end year holidays one on one therapy that you need. Here are few tips I will suggest for you to practice.

1- Get yourself a gift.

Don’t wait for someone to get you one. if you can even buy a romantic candle and burn it while having a nice long hot bath it will be worth it, trust me.

2-Go out into nature.

I like this because it will help you cleanse your body, mind, and soul. you will feel ready for the year to come. even though I do this all the time, not most of us have time to enjoy the power of nature, and that’s why I will make it a therapy to practice at least when you have that chance.

3-Do what you love.

Time is never on our side, don’t be busy doing things that will make you feel like you are being punished, making you not prepare yourself to enjoy your holiday.

4-Take time in the evening.

Have your nice green tea and make a call to those whom you missed the entire year. Tell them how much you love them and how much you wish you could see them. Laugh and talk about the funny moments with them, this will help you clear your mind off thoughts.

5-Eat well.

I know this might sound silly but when you are in an autopilot mode, you forget your diet. I’ve been there lol, in fact for me I forget that I’m human and human need food to operate, so planning your diet will help you a lot during this crazy time.

 

6-Practice Generosity.

Even if you are not that kind of person, try to practice generosity. Being nice to others or strangers has a way of triggering a love button in us. This subsequently helps us feel calmer and experience a greater sense of love and connection with our family, friends, and ourselves, be generous this season.

7-Practice Mindfulness.

There are so many beautiful and tasty things around us during the holiday season. Take the time to slow things down and really take it all in. Notice the colors, flavors, sounds, and sensations of the holiday season. Soak it up and notice how it feels to enjoy it all. This special time only comes once a year!
