DO BLACK PEOPLE SMELL BAD?
It’s a new month and I must admit it’s been a while, not the best way to start a month. I have to talk about something that I come across all the time but I never cared. Till it became a question to be answered.
The question “DO BLACK PEOPLE SMELL?”There are so many stereotypes out there, and some of them are extremest. I felt like talking about this question because whoever asked, drove me into writing this post, have in mind they have interacted with people of African origin and they still felt like asking. It’s not about blaming them for asking but I blame them for not being interested in learning from what’s around them.
Every human has their own body odor, you cannot group people and say they smell and others don’t. When it comes to body odor we are looking at many things. Type of food, medication, hormones, body cream if you apply one, shower gel and even exercise.
What stereotypes need to know is that even a fabric of what you wear can mess up your odor. So the answer to the question is no each individual has their own body odor.
WHY & HOW DID YOU COME TO GREECE?
I always see these questions coming, not bad we all have curiosity. An answer to this question is a long story, actually, I decided to talk about it on my youtube channel THE COZY ME to save myself some words to type. What you need to know is that it was never because of love as many always shoot the question then they follow with ” is it because of love”. I also came with a plane, check it out on my channel.
DO YOU HAVE WHITE OR BLACK FRIENDS?
Not once not twice but a lot of times this question always makes me laugh. The reason is that I’m always off guard when asked, the answer is yes I do have friends from both races including Asia. I’ve failed so many times to understand what’s color got to do with friendship, sometimes you treat people the way they want to be treated. If someone asks you such question, you can just treat them as they are (stupid).
HOW COME YOU HAVE LONG HAIR?
I kid you not this is one of the questions I always give a WTF face. People of African origin are blessed in their own way, everything is all about care and attention. If you find an African woman with a short hair, honey it’s either she likes it short or she doesn’t feel like doing much with it. Our hair requires time, love and many more. When you see a woman with an afro, don’t be fooled, that hair when straightened, is longer than you think. Some of us are just not fun of straight hair.
